I bow to the Lord, Īśāna, whose form is liberation; all-powerful, all-pervading, the very form of Brahman and the Veda. Abiding in himself, beyond qualities, beyond distinctions, without desire; the sky of consciousness, dwelling in the sky — him I worship.
Tulsīdās places this hymn in the mouth of a brahmin pleading with Śiva to forgive his disciple. It is in Sanskrit, set inside the Awadhi Rāmcaritmānas.

Translation
I bow to the Lord, Īśāna, whose form is liberation; all-powerful, all-pervading, the very form of Brahman and the Veda. Abiding in himself, beyond qualities, beyond distinctions, without desire; the sky of consciousness, dwelling in the sky — him I worship.
